Cute FTP
Cute FTP is one of the best ftp programs I know of. It is not free but it gets the job
done and has some excellent features.
One great feature of Cute FTP is the site manager. I have a lot of sites to keep
track of. Cute FTP allows you to store multiple sites and then choose which
one to connect to on startup.
The split pane feature also makes working a lot easier. You can see your local
directories on one side and your remote directories on the other. You can drag
and drop folders from one side to the other. You can also use right click menus to
chmod, upload, download, and relocate files.
Cute FTP also decides for itself which method to use when uploading files. So you
don’t have to swap back and forth when uploading different types of files.
Cute FTP also comes with Cute HTML, which allows you to edit you files remotely.
You don't have to download, edit, then re-upload. All you do is click edit in the
remote directory. Cute HTML opens with the file. You can then make your
changes and click upload changes.
Cute FTP has some great features and is easy to use. I highly recommend this program.
